When should I apply for admission to Missouri S&T?
You should apply early in the semester prior to when you plan to enroll. For example, if you plan to enroll in the Fall, you should apply for admission in January or February, soon after beginning the Winter/Spring semester at your current institution. For Winter/Spring semester enrollment, apply early in the Fall semester. [admission requirements]

Why apply so early?
The earlier you apply, the more quickly your application can be processed, including evaluation of your transcripts from other institutions. Early application for admission also ensures you will meet all applicable scholarship deadlines.

What are your policies on how grades transfer and degree requirements?
Missouri S&T transfers grade-for-grade. Your cumulative GPA from all previously attended institutions will become part of your GPA at Missouri S&T. We transfer all grades, including all grades from individual courses taken more than once.

Yes. During your first semester at Missouri S&T, enroll in the Career Opportunity Center's Co-op Training program, which allows you to alternate semesters of class work with semesters of work in industry. You not only earn money while working toward your degree, you also gain valuable professional experience and seniority with your cooperating industry employer.
