Missouri S&T grants advanced placement in military science to:

• Honorably discharged veterans of active military service
• High school graduates with at least three years of Junior ROTC
• Graduates of Leaders Training Course, a four-week summer leadership camp at Ft. Kentucky
• Members of reserve components with basic and advanced training

Military science students must be approved by the professor of military science and have four semesters remaining in school to be considered. Physicals are required. In addition to advanced placement, Missouri S&T awards college credit for military experience in accordance with commendations outlined in A Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services. Missouri S&T uses its own standards for evaluation of CLEP exams. For more information visit:
