Katy joined the Admissions Team in June 2007. She assists transfer students from across the United States with the Missouri S&T admissions process. Katy visits community colleges and 4-year universities throughout the Midwest to meet prospective students and give them advice regarding transferring to Missouri S&T. She also meets with prospective students and families visiting the Missouri S&T campus and assists with various admissions events.

Prior to joining the Admissions Team, Katy attended Truman State University and earned her BS in May 2007 in both Business Management and Accounting with a minor in Equine Studies. While at Truman, Katy was involved in many campus organizations, including Circle K International, Campus Pals, and Students Together Education Peers (STEP). She also worked at the Women’s Resource Center and was a teaching assistant. In her spare time, Katy enjoys scrapbooking, cooking, and spending time with her many critters on her family’s farm.
