Debbie is the Assistant Director of Admissions for Transfer Students. She is responsible for programs that assist students who transfer to Missouri S&T from other colleges or universities and for building strong relationships with Missouri S&T's many transfer partner schools around Missouri and the United States.

Before joining the Missouri S&T in 2002, Debbie spent three years teaching high-school math at Sullivan High School, and 12 years before that as an instructional assistant in the Pre-Engineering Department and adjunct math faculty at East Central College. 

Originally from Sullivan, Missouri, Debbie earned Associate's Degrees in Engineering and Education from East Central College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Central Methodist University. She has worked for over eighteen years in fields related to math, engineering, and education at the secondary and post-secondary levels. She is a member of the Missouri Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO) and Missouri Association of College Admission Counseling (MOACAC), as well as the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
