Courtney joined Missouri S&T as an Admissions Counselor in March, 2004. Her primary responsibilities include visiting high schools and attending college fairs in the greater Chicago area, meeting with prospective students and assisting their families in the college admissions process.

Courtney is originally from Galva, Illinois, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in December, 2003. While at SIU, Courtney was an active member and officer of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, worked as a Student Ambassador and also as a Student Orientation Ambassador. She volunteered over 600 hours as a member of Saluki Volunteers Corps and was also a member of several professional organizations in the Speech Communication department.

Courtney is a member of the Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) and the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC).
